Byte, the fourth start-up company in Los Angeles to achieve an exit for over a billion dollars, witnessed the leadership of Cohen as the Founder & CEO of 180fusion. Also, under his guidance, 180fusion, a prominent search engine marketing platform, was successfully acquired by Deluxe Corporation (NYSE: DLX). Cohen’s entrepreneurial journey also included serving as the executive director of Currency, a Fintech platform that found its new home with a private equity firm.

In addition, between 2000 and 2010, Cohen played pivotal roles in steering Silicon Valley software companies PSS Systems and Certus from their inception to market leadership positions. These companies, under his strategic direction, ultimately attracted acquisitions by industry giants IBM and Cisco, respectively.

In 2021, Ernst & Young honored Scott with the Entrepreneur of the Year award. Currently, he plays a vital role as an Advisor and Investor for multiple growth companies in the tech sector.

Further, with his contributions to the business world, Scott actively engages in the nonprofit community, serving on the Boards of the Prostate Cancer Research Institute, LA Chamber of Commerce, United Way, and Jewish Graduate Student Initiative.
